About the Conference

The Minnesota Public Safety Communications Conference aims to bring together a broad base of public safety and emergency management practitioners to develop a shared understanding of the key interoperability challenges and opportunities facing Minnesota public safety agencies. 

The conference will also address how we would communicate in an emergency:

• among counties and regions,
• with state agencies,
• with neighboring states and Canadian provinces, and
• with multiple federal government agencies.

The intent is to promote sharing of best practices and hard-earned experience, as well as to provide the latest information about emerging systems in interoperability.

Conference participants will learn real-world insights, listen to practical knowledge and come away with a common sense approach to being a leader within the Minnesota Model.

PLEASE NOTE: This training event takes place April 26-27. Pre-conference training takes places on Monday, April 25. Participants can register for both using the following form. Pre-registration for the conference is encouraged, but onsite (day of) registration will also be available. Lodging and meal reservations must be made separately - see below for more information

Please note that your attendee registration for the 2022 Minnesota Public Safety Communications Conference does NOT include meals. In order to receive meal tickets for the conference, you must select ONE of the options below and complete the corresponding form(s). All forms are due to Breezy Point by April 1, 2022.

Lodging/Meal Options and Rates (All dinners are on your own):

• 3 night hotel-type room (Sunday-Wednesday)
  Single - $460.26 or Double Occupancy - $300.81
  Includes: three (3) nights lodging; meeting space; Monday breakfast and box lunch; Tuesday breakfast, breaks, and lunch; Wednesday breakfast, breaks, and box lunch; service charge and tax.
• 2 night hotel-type room (Monday-Wednesday)
  Single - $312.21 or Double Occupancy – $205.91
  Includes: two (2) nights lodging; Tuesday breakfast, breaks, and lunch; Wednesday breakfast, break, and lunch, service charge and tax.
• 1 night hotel-type room (any night)
  Single -$186.65 or Double Occupancy - $133.49
  Includes: one (1) night lodging, lunch and breaks day of arrival, breakfast, breaks, and lunch day of departure.

Meals Only Option (Commuters, Spouses, Non-Overnight Guests):

If you do not require lodging, you may purchase the following conference meals. Conference meal options may also be purchased for spouses or other guests. Commuter meals may be purchased by choosing the individual meal tickets. Price includes a resort service charge of 15 percent and 7.375 percent sales tax. Advance payment is transferable and non-refundable.

• Wednesday breakfast $19.26 each
• Wednesday morning break $8.38 each
• Wednesday box lunch $16.69 each

All commuter reservations must be completed using this registration form. Phone reservations are not accepted.
